Since 2012, we've tracked 250+ bald eagles (146 as nestlings)! One female, originally caught in OK and now grown up and nesting in KS, is now heading north. In winter, eagles feed on gut piles, risking lead poisoning from ammo. Hunters can help by switching to lead-free.

check out the work by Banding Coalition of the Americas (they're not on Bluesky yet) on FB - they just posted about a multi-hummer-species project in Idaho using the BlūMorpho tags; SUPER COOL!

Project Monarch, spearheaded by the @cmpsciencecenter.bsky.social, has already mapped Monarchs from NJ to Florida using these tags (they were developed specifically for monarchs originally) and researchers at James Madison University have demonstrated the lack of effect on flight behavior!!
