Cartier directs an empty set with a lot of creativity and the performances are superb. Jospeh Furst deserves to be better remembered than just Professor Zaroff

Tonight a first for the podcast. I watched something I haven’t seen before. Doctor Korczak and the Children has given me a lot to think about.

For the Doctor Who fans we have Joseph Furst, Anton Diffring and a brief but important appearance from Paddy Russell.

Unexpected day off. So went back down to London and enjoyed a treasure hunt and pub hunt. Beautiful day as well. Almost spring time

I’ve made my choice for this one and it’s a story I’m excited to revisit

There’s some good stuff in the first series but from the second onwards it becomes something special

Excellent first episode. Absolutely love Alien and some of the subsequent films. The board game is great and one of the most straightforward coop games I’ve played!

There are also some strong episodes from 1971 and 73. A really good Noel fronted 73 edition but is a poor quality black and white copy

The 3 episodes from Jan/Feb 1970 have a really good mix of performances. The “safe” episode deserves a repeat at least.

I have no issue with the gay Klingon in Star Trek. It’s an interesting, logical and modern story choice.

I do have issue with how boring the storyline is and the total lack of chemistry with Darem.

It’s all very chaste too. Like we’re allowed non hetero relationships as long as they’re “safe”
