You know what? After playing the demo, I think people were right. Stellar Blade is shockingly fun despite it being touted as simply gooner bait.

The combat is surprisingly satisfying, and judging by the skill tree, it has a decent amount of depth. Guess that's going on the old wishlist

Modern Warfare for $26.99 is a little bit too expensive for a game honestly. Black Ops 2 for $26.72 however...

I'd still suggest it if you like accurate sci-fi, but go in with very tempered expectations

Finished The Expanse finally

I have such a love hate relationship with that show. Some parts like Season 3 and 5 are great, but then some of the earlier seasons were paced weird because of the book structure. Also Season 6 beyond frustrates me with missed potential.

Just realized I never gave a followup to this.

Wrapped it up and enjoyed it still, but it is easily the worst of the reboot trilogy. It has the core of what makes a Doom game great, but the weapon sandbox, dragon sections, and open-world levels are all mediocre at best.

Played around three hours of Dark Ages and yeah to absolutely no surprise, it fucks HARD.

Don't love that glory kill animations have been neutered a bit, but everything else is awesome. The mech sections in particular are so, SO good. Exceeded my expectations

Normally, I'd sympathize, but from what I was able to read many of the Steam reviews are from people with a lot of time expressing genuine concerns. Hell, it's still maintaining Mostly Positive in recent reviews too

One thing I’ve realized as I get older is I no longer have patience for people who want to find the negative in everything. I literally do not give a shit, stop killing everyone’s mood.

On a lighter note, finished replaying The Wolf Among Us yesterday and gained a huge amount of respect for that game. 15-year-old me didn't have as much respect for great writing, so ended up thoroughly enjoying it this time around. Also need more Bigby + Toad screentime.
