Establishing Best Practices to Engage Youth in Research A team of CU researchers led by Stephen Scott, MD, MPH, and Sarah Brewer, PhD, MPA, received funding from PCORI to study the effectiveness of youth advisory boards.

Youth advisory boards are becoming more important to engage young people in research, however, little is known of the effectiveness of giving adolescents a voice. A project from CU researchers will set a new standard for inclusion of youth in research practices.

Creating a More User-Friendly Shared Decision-Making Tool for Physicians A team of CU researchers led by Laura Scherer, PhD, won the contract to revise AHRQ’s shared decision-making clinician training program.
