I wish Shadowrun had mechanics that were as good as the setting. I'll also say that I've tried to run Shadowrun twice. 1st time, my 2 most extroverted players broke up with their exes, and it tanked the game. The 2nd time had session 0 two weeks before Covid shut the world down. Truly cursed.

I really need to get into a Mage game. For that matter Mutants and Masterminds. I've had books for both for between 1 and 2 decades respectively, and done nothing with them. Shadowrun is a cursed game though.

Over the course of my gaming life? Superheroes.

In recent years, say post pandemic, most likely horror or fantasy.

Unfortunately, I have nothing this weekend, but I'm going to prime and paint a few things for D&D next weekend.

My D&D table is full of experienced players. Despite that, I just introduced them all to Slaadi for the first time. It's never too late to traumatize your table I guess.

I always say that I like my games 80/20 towards serious, but they inevitably end up in the reverse.

I love all of the FF, but especially Ben. To be honest, it started with me just liking strong hoss characters. I loved the Hulk vs. Thing fights, but as I got older, I just started related more and more to him.

My contribution is pretty similar

All of these lifers for WotC leaving quickly is a pretty bad sign for D&D. Hopefully they are just pivoting to a different company.

My new campaign for my Gayme Night is fey themed. Seemed to be received well.

Physical 100% I have a hard time with reading digital copies, and I don't care for digital dice. Even with battle maps, going online separates the players, and it feels less social.

If you want to play Assassins Creed Shadows soon, Odyssey might be a good refresher. Otherwise, Cyberpunk

The next ttrpg campaign I run will be a World of Darkness game. Not 100% sure which one though.
