Tendrils further connect companies across several parts. The social media part is all cracked up. Company and service names are all over the letters, lots of -ism and -phobia and other emotive words are written between them. There is an app planet with API rockets flying to and from it. The Web part looks blackened, unwell, and is melting. The drips are falling down into puddles on some kind of planet surface. This is the personal web - from it grow flowers and fungi. Peering over the planet edge is a character with the words "Populist authoritarian - so much... So manipulatable..."

Benevolent August The last days of July in Germany were marked by lots of rain and wind, and the nasty weather continued into August. Not that I noticed much of it, as I was in Sweden with my girl, but I kept getting weather warnings for Wiesbaden on my smartphone and we weren’t completely left out in the north either. Just as we got back home, the sun popped out and the temperature shot up to over 30 degrees. This weather seems to be sticking around and shaping up to be the vibe for August. The back and forth seems to have taken its toll on Thomas’ garden, as some of the flowers are already looking quite bedraggled. But it could also be that their time is simply over… You know I don’t know anything about plants… I just take pictures of them :) * * *

@jsstaedtler @steeph You're right. I don't currently offer my own comment form. This is due to the static nature of the site. I still need to find a way to offer this third option. Webmention, Fediverse Interaction + Local Comments is the goal.

@jsstaedtler @steeph The user doesn't have to do anything if you continue to offer your comment form but also use syndications. Both are interactions with your blog post that you can display below it. Some like this, some like that...
