I had to do a couple of laps on Sonic Racing CrossWorlds after to bring me back down.

I started RE7 last night. Living room, all lights off, total darkness. Wheeeew.

Yeah, somehow it's a series I've avoided my entire life. I plan to do 7, 8 and 9 and then eventually go back to experience the rest.

I bought Resident Evil 7 last night and I am very excited to get stuck into it today as my first ever RE.

Sonic Superstars

Pretty awful Sonic game. Cheap deaths, too many boss fights that last too long. Awful final boss. Bad special stages.

Good physics, some good levels and nice moments. Good presentation. But overall just not very enjoyable. Time to move on.

People on BlueSky can be really miserable sometimes. I do enjoy this site but, oh my god it can be so exhausting.

Between LeafGreen, Xenoblade X Update, my general backlog, and maybe some Zelda/Mario announcements this year?

It really isn't a quiet one.

This whole soundtrack just takes me back to such lovely times in my life. Wish the original Red & Blue tracks were available too.

Just nostalgia, comfort, playing with friends and being a kid.

Tried the Pragmata demo on the SW2 yesterday. It's impressive, but handheld's framerate feels too unstable for me.

as a Pompey fan this result equally pleases and displeases me.

If they won't invest in a human reviewing their applications on a very human level, the company is probably dog shit.

AI is a thing in my job sector and there's no getting around that - I have to accept it's going to be used here and there.

But what I will never do is apply for one of the roles where they are using AI to sift through applications and approve CVs and Covering Letter.

A Monster Hunter Rise Switch 2 update would go so hard.

Feels like it should be easy money for Capcom, I'm sure many would pay a reasonable £5 - £10 for it.

Star Fox 64 3D

Spent an evening on this in-between Fire Emblem. Fun but short experience. I could see a kid version of myself replaying over and over as intended to get high scores and do all routes.

But for me, now, it’s ok in its form. Not spectacular, but fun for an hour or so.

Does anyone enjoy Kirby Air Riders as a single player experience?

I'm so curious about the game. Kinda want it. But I really only play stuff single player. Is the CPU and in-game stuff entertaining enough for that?

They've gotta port God of War 3 to PC and just generally bring it into the current console generation

Finished Wonder Man. Nothing like Marvel's ever done before, absolute 9/10 for me.

I need to see these characters again. I really hope they bring him back in some way.

Feel like I can't plan what to play after Fire Emblem because I know it'll be approaching the latter half of February and I am expecting Pokémon Colosseum to drop on NSO or maybe some classic Pokémon in some shape or form on February 27th.

Daredevil Born Again S2 looks very good.

I think things like that would basically print money. I really want the Fire Emblem 3DS titles to all make their way across. I haven't played Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia - hesitant to buy it right now.

Also Metroid Samus Returns is stuck on the 3DS.

A little tempted to hack my old 3DS but I dunno, it's a lot of effort for something I might just totally balls up.

and, honestly, emulation on the Steam Deck isn't great for those titles. There's lot of stutter. I also don't want to have to sit at my PC to run them, based on their handheld nature.

Nintendo really need to do something with the 3DS Library.

I know we've had the odd port for the Switch, but it would be cool to see like 2 or 3 more being revealed so we can assume that's the new "Wii U" transition.

I don't want to spend a fortune on 3DS games just to play them.

Star Wars: Outlaws

Man what a game. Feels very cinematic and the stealth and action sequences are incredible. Aware it wasn’t like this at launch.

The orchestral soundtrack during set pieces and some missions added to the atmosphere. A lot of side content if you like that, too.

god I have fully fallen into Nintendo's parental demographic.

Wasn't bothered about the Mario Wonder DLC, but Luma and Assist mode means my daughter will have a lot of fun with this. I'm basically sold.

Between Animal Crossing and Donkey Kong, it's nice seeing more Switch games getting Switch 2 upgrades that weren't part of the initial announcement.

Begging Nintendo to do this for Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Engage and Three Hopes.

And all of Xenoblade. 🙏
