Just finished Sally Carson's "Crooked Cross" and it's great, highly recommend. Though the, uh, parallels to contemporary events are pretty damn grim.

Trying to imagine what it's like to be someone who reports social media posts to employers. I'm pretty good at getting into people's heads and understanding different points a view, but it's so fundamentally spineless and cowardly that it's hard for me to picture it.

Imagine a teenager using a cup more than once instead of getting a new cup every time they get a drink. You can't. It's never happened.
