True story- I did world book day dressed as a nursery rhyme character. Only as I got dressed in the morning, did I remember who the actual, current, albeit not grand 'old duke of York' is. Essentially I went to school, dressed as a paedophile*

A few years back, on our way to a week down south, we were in stuck in traffic in Leigh (near Wigan), the whole family was amazed to see someone walking their dog, as it was *walking on its hind legs*. Not only was it the talk of the remaining journey, it's still regularly discussed to this day.

Don't worry, I agree with the sentiment, I just thought the capitalisation had a linguistic effect that I commented on. Unfortunately, I only have my head to read it in- using somebody else's isn't really an option, and reading everything out loud would be weird.

It may just be me, but capitalising the first word, when I read it in my head, has the same impact as a comma after it. It sounds like you're offering some reassuring advice- hang in there, extremists!

Totally. Difficult to imagine how we move forward into a decent society- given that for every Obama, there are many Trumps. Like you say, it's not just the USA, the shadow of facism is looming over the whole world now. SAD
