Her soft, gold colored feathers are fluffed by the breeze, and her gaze is distant and content. Her hands rest atop the gentle, curve of her swollen belly. From behind, Harth approaches with a quietness reserved only for her. He settles behind her, his larger frame creating a warm, sturdy backrest against the cool air. His own deep blue and black feathers contrast beautifully with her own as his wings drape gently around her, creating a protective, nest like embrace. He leans forward, his head resting near hers, and places his hands over her own on the swell of her stomach. Lina doesn't startle, she simply melts back into his solid presence, a soft, appreciative smile touching her beak. Harth closes his eyes. A look of profound peace and concentration settles over his features. His hands begin to move in slow, deliberate circles, a tender and reassuring pressure that speaks of love, protection, and a deep seated wonder. - It would seem Harth was successful in having Lina bear his child, and in doing so, Lina fully became a Rito women in mind, body, and spirit. With Lira, the spirit of the female ancient Rito warrior within the mask, observing Lina's life changing developments, and urging her to embrace the changes happening to her, and the egg that's now within her. Turns out Harth was very compatible with Lina, as he had no problem fertilizing the egg within her. I'm sure all of Lina's Rito friends including the likes of Teba, Tulin, Kass, Saki, Amali, Cecili, and Penn are very happy for her. Revali is observing in the afterlife likely still cursing himself that it wasn't him, and naturally Zelda's happy for her friend. The Sage of Wind in spirit is also proud of Lina, for embracing her new Rito form and identity as part of the proud Rito tribe. What new developments await Lina and Harth now? Only time will tell~

Personally I don't think Lina will go through any mood swings, even while she's still adjusting to new changes happening to her Rito form. Chalk that up to centuries worth of mental fortitude.

Which that said it is likely Harth and Lina are bound to go through quite the memorable experience.

Lina's a very unique case since she's not exactly your ordinary Rito women, considering how she came to be, and the many changes that came about as a result of her creation.

With that said, the more she gets used to her form, the more she discovers and learns new things about her new self.

Well there's momentary pain, and then there's long term antagonizing pain, which is something Lina has endured in her previous life.

Between the two, a female Rito laying an egg even if painful, likely pales in comparison to the years worth of physical and mental pain she's experienced prior.

I'm sure the Rito's like Teba, Saki, Harth or Revali would also look awesome in your style, should you ever draw them.

Considering that Lina during her former life as Link endured going through hellish training. Fighting all manner of horrifying creatures. Losing an arm, and literally dying.

I'm pretty sure laying an egg as a female Rito will be mild in comparison. :>

Plus she has Harth for support if needed~

Since the spirit of hero can be inherited by blood, it's entirely possible this Rito child could end up being the next Hero, or simply just an exceptionally capable Rito, who inherited the talents of their parents Lina and Harth.

Either way this Rito child will surely be one of a kind in Hyrule.

Considering who the parents are, Harth and Lina's child is bound to be gifted in many areas, as well as a compassionate and courageous soul.

Considering how said child was conceived and the unique circumstances that lead to it's creation, it's bound to be a one of a kind of Rito never seen before.

Lina's former self will always be a part of her, but over time she's come to accept her new self and Rito form, and thus her new identity will ultimately be her new persona, away from what she was. Instead of a Hero fighting endless battles, she's a humble baker, living a happy life with Harth.

It's a mix if their design and personality. Generally the Rito's have nice designs, but it's the other aspects that makes them truly appealing.

Attempts were made to make Revali look better, but I still find him unappealing. Kass was kind of overexposed, and overall Teba ticked all the right boxes.

A right turn was made, and it was the wrong direction... sorry I couldn't help myself XD

Yeah all the Rito's awesome, and very attractive looking. It's just a shame some don't get as much appreciation as others, when they absolutely should~

I think it speaks volumes that Link sees Teba as a father figure to the extent that he'd ask him for something like this unashamedly.

If anything I'd imagine Teba would take it as a complement once he got over the initial shock, and actually follow through with the request, cause he's that chill.

Teba definitely is. I'm happy he got a lot more recognition in the later zelda games. With that said, it's also shame Rito's like Harth, didn't get the attention and acknowledgement they deserved.

Just look at Harth's design and personality, it's honestly surprising he's so underrated.

Teba and Harth are both awesome. Penn is underrated. Kass got ridiculously popular, and Revali is, well Revali lol. XP

Teba's appeal stems from a compelling combination of his visual design and profound character depth that sets him apart from other Rito. Visually his white plumage gives him a commanding and noble presence, which contrasts sharply with the more common, colorful appearances of the other Rito's. Unlike the slender build of a character like Revali, Teba possesses a sturdier, more muscular mature frame that visually reinforces his role as a seasoned warrior and protector. Beyond his appearance, his personality provides a significant source of his attractiveness. He initially presents a gruff and skeptical exterior to Link, but this quickly reveals itself to be a front for a deeply dedicated and protective nature. His motivation is not born from vanity or a desire for glory, but from a fierce commitment to his people, and most importantly his family Saki and Tulin. Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, and Age of Calamity in my eyes, showed that Teba in many aspects is a pretty awesome individual, and in many ways is the kind of individual that should lead by example for his people. With all that said, depending on how the Sage of Wind is characterized in age of imprisonment, he may potentially end up being the most well liked Rito. ;p

This may be a unpopular opinion, but if you asked me who the most appealing Rito out of all the ones in Zelda, it would be Teba, and not the likes of Kass or Revali.

While I do get Kass's appeal, I genuinely think he's regarded to highly. Likewise with Revali. Honestly I'd even place Harth second.

You're absolutely right! Between their striking designs and some of the compelling personalities of specific ones, the Rito's are far more appealing than they have any right to be~

All the more reason such a unique design like this for Lina is so appealing, and of course for Harth to. :>

That depends on the Rito couple.

For some, one or two kids is plenty and manageable.

Having five kids around the same timeframe like Kass did, is another realm entirely. That's a level of activity out of this world. XP

For Harth and Lina, it's better for things to be slow and steady. :>
