For CNN I'm looking to talk to young men (feel free to interpret "young" broadly) who are actively sports betting soberβas in, you made a conscious decision to abstain for your wellbeing or you quit gamblingβbut are still sports fans. If that's you: Hannah[dot]keyser[at]cnn[dot]com

I was excited to get to write about this because one of the most effective and important thing men can do to make sports more welcoming to women who want kids is to make a big deal about their own babies and demand their own parental accommodations and take their full paternity leave if offered.

Moβne Davis Is Finally Ready to Play Baseball Again
More than a decade after becoming a Little League sensation at age 13, Moβne Davis is set to make more history as the face of the Womenβs Pro Baseball League.
Mo'ne Davis spent years telling people that she was done playing baseball. She did not want to be forever defined by what she did as a 13-year-old in Little League, a decade ago, and she did not feel like there was space for her to do much else. And then she felt differently. On Davis and the WPBL:

love this. a million years ago (2017) I made a documentary short for deadspin about high school cricket in new york city focusing on the John Adams HS team and I looooved getting to know the kids and the culture. I'd be very interested in finding another way into that realm.

Today is my first day as a sports writer at @cnn.com. I'll be covering all sports, not just baseball (but also baseball, see you back at the ballpark come spring!) and I want to dig in especially on the weird, the niche, the nontraditional, and youth sports. So get at me with stories in that realm.
