Honored that our piece was published in #TheScientist today. We wanted to use this opportunity to reflect on the devastating impact of frozen federal research grants, not just on science, but on the people behind the science and whose futures are at stake.

This project will take me back to France to explore the critical interface between science and policy in pesticide regulation. I am deeply grateful to the University of Montpellier, Institut ExposUM, Aurélie Binot, and Mariline Poupaud for their support and partnership in this exciting endeavor.

After a period of uncertainty about the program’s future, I am thrilled to share that I have been awarded a hashtag#Fulbright Scholar Award, one of the world’s most internationally recognized academic exchange programs.

Conferences have felt different this year but looking forward to catching up with friends and colleagues and presenting some of our work at #Worm25.

All of that originated from the education, training, and research that happen at universities. All of that is getting defunded and will go away. The future of life in America is bleak.

I want people to look around and pay attention to all the technology they are using or the medicine they are taking. I want people to think of their loved ones and the race for cures against cancer or Alzheimer's.

On my way to the 2025 Germinal Stem Cell Biology GRC chaired by Mitinori Saitou in Barcelona. Really looking forward to learn about the latest advances in in vitro and in vivo germ cell biology!
