Speak up and out. Share out vital information, not misinformation. Support other San Franciscans and do it peacefully.

21.10.2025 18:31 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0All San Franciscans should have access to resources to help you plan for the future. But, we’ve heard from so many that this just isn’t the case. Government and community partners need to come together to bring you reliable resources—we did just that at the library for Financial Planning Day. ✅
21.10.2025 18:31 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0🚨Note: you are still responsible for paying your property taxes on time even if you have filed an appeal. This way you can avoid penalties applied for payment made after the due date. If you receive a reduction in value through an appeal, the Treasurer & Tax Collector will issue you a refund.

Today's disgusting killing of Charlie Kirk is yet another example of the gun and political violence epidemics that plague the United States. Violence is a threat to everyone, no matter your beliefs or ideology. We must all collectively condemn this tragedy.

I’ll miss my friend and mentor, with his unmistakeable humor and candor—and will always be thankful for all that he gave us. May he rest in power.

Happy Labor Day.
More often than not I look to the picture of César Chávez hanging in my office. It is a source of light during moments of darkness. Defending rights and changing power structures has never been easy. Yet, Labor has never shied away from this work.

We see it in our history, both recent and past, in the fights for economic, social and environmental justice.
