— Salvador lifted an arm and pointed over at the other, making his way over towards where the crates were sitting.

With every step he drew closer, the black armor had several streaks of dried purple and blue, fine flecks of red-purple against the golden visor.

"Hey, stranger. Like the view?"

— turning slowly and deliberately to see if he could see the figure again.

As he looked over the crates, he paused, the golden visor trained on the figure standing by his usual spot, the stack of crates.

It was her. He hadn't been hallucinating it.

— It could have been a trick of the mind, wanting to see that someone was there, and the figure was fabricated. It wasn't unusal for him to feel as though he was being watched after a mission.

A soft exhale escaped the Gamma as he looked around the hangar one more time, —

— A black armored figure stepped down the ramp of the Pelican, the golden visor turning to scan around the area to get his bearings back onto his surroundings.

Though the first time around, he could have sworn he'd seen something— Someone. Someone that could see him.

It wouldn't be very long until a Pelican entered the hangar, lowering itself down towards the ground.

The rumbling of the engines continued for a few moments, the hatch opening up to allow the Spartan off of the vehicle.

— That was when the Spartan decided to rise from his spot on the crate, leaping off of it and onto the floor.

His feet thudded against the floor, and he glanced around in the hangar one more time before he too made his way to leave.

Maybe he'll see her again one of these days.

— Of course, their meeting would be brief, but it was something he was going to remember for a while.

"I don't plan on dying anytime soon. See you around, Kali."

He nodded after her and watched her leave, staying in place until after she left his line of sight.

Red was a very fitting color for her too, he thought.

The color of blood, of flames. Something about it just felt right.

The Gamma watches her expressions and body language was the notification popped up.

It's fun, especially if you take 'em while they're still alive. Like teeth, for instance.

Taking pieces for armor adornation works pretty well too for intimidation.

The Gamma leaned back against the crate, his gaze scanning over the Beta thoughtfully.

"Based off just looking at you, you enjoy taking risks. You wouldn't have approached me if you didn't. You're interesting."

He paused, straightening himself back up in his posture.

"You also clearly like red."

— I know I was in the wrong, Sir. It will not happen again."

There was a brief pause in his speech, a few seconds of hesitation before he continued on.

"I'll accept the consequences of my previous actions, and know that you are well within your right to do with me as you see fit, Admiral, Sir."

— "I wanted to apologize for what I said and how I reacted the last time we spoke. I had not been in the proper state of mind, but nonetheless, it is still no excuse for my conduct, and for that, I'm sorry."

" I know it doesn't change what happened, or what was said.

— The Spartan came to a halt a few feet away from the desk, first saluting the Admiral before he placed his arms behind his back in a parade rest.

The depolarised visor made it to where the Gamma's face was visible through the helmet.

As the door opened and the Gamma was surprised, he initially expected to be told to leave— he certainly wouldn't have blamed him if he did.

He'd by lying if he said he wasn't nervous.

"Admiral, Sir."

— "I don't typically look for anything in particular, though if you watch enough, you can get a decently good read on a person. At least in the sense of figuring out some mannerisms that align with their personalities."

"Half of the time I like to make things up inside my head about what they do. Gives me a good laugh sometimes."

He noticed the shift in her body language, his attention falling towards the helmet in question and then back towards Kali.

— He shifted, scooting closer to the edge of the crate to allow his legs to dangle down.

"Sometimes I'll people watch. See who's coming in and who's leaving. It just depends on the day."

Salvador would grasp at her hand, giving it a solid shake before letting her go and pulling his arm back to his side.

"Sometimes I come down here just to think. Half of the time there ain't nobody around. You can both see the stars and have a place to clear your head."

Sounds like another day in paradise.

— "Salvador, Gamma company. Pleased to meet you."

He extended an arm towards her, with his palm facing upwards.

— "Which means you must be from one of the previous groups. Which is it?"

His gaze fell onto the visor, and it was as though he could see right through it. The Gamma paused, cocking his head to the side, a grin pulling at the corners of his mouth.

"I could say the same about you. Not often I really see someone outside my company. I'd know them in an instant. You're new to me."

The Gamma sat up from how he was leaning against the crates, turning his full attention towards the other Spartan.

— Spartan watched closely as the ship eventually made it's landing, a moment or two passing before the hatch opened up.

He stayed in place where he was, sitting atop of a few stacked crates.

Maybe he'll recognize whoever is arriving.

It wasn't an unusual occurrence for the Gamma to spend time alone in the hangars.

He goes there to clear his head, to think, and while he generally pays no mind to the military birds that come and go, the arrival of a pelican happened to catch his attention.
