08.12.2024 20:09 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Cunha has better output than Β£115m Isak, all whilst playing for a significantly worse team and having much tougher fixtures to start the season
26.11.2024 10:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Weβre going to have to play Kiwor RCB and #5 at RB for a few games but apart from that, our squad is in a pretty healthy state for rotation this month whilst maintaining these same dynamics

The 2-4-4 is by far our best system and what fit our players the best:
-Our best goal scorers(Wingers) are the highest players up the pitch
-All our CMs thrive more in a double pivot
-FBs are allowed to stay wide instead of inverting
-The CF and AM can dictate play from deep
Raya became a victim of our OOP success in 23/24, despite his contributions to this being big. Facing few shots led people to think heβs not a good stopper. But his Brentford days was evidence of his credentials in this regard. This season heβs just gone up a level in all areas.
24.11.2024 10:08 β π 8 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0This club are actually giving Trossard a new contract. Why canβt we ever move on our bench players when their stock is still high?
21.11.2024 12:23 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I can easily avoid spoilers from my late stream by being on here + I wonβt have to endure dooming from Arsenal fans when we arenβt 3-0 up in 10 mins

Andrew Tate got banned from Bluesky in less than one day.
Another reason things are so much better here than Twitter.
Everyone on Twitter getting exposed as weirdos/criminals whilst youβre just a Big Chill guy on BlueSky

My last newsletter: a huge (8,000+ word) tour through 14 topics currently facing Arsenal, and what can be done about them β including deep manipulation, central dribbling, shot selection, Nwaneri, Merino, and more. From before Chelsea, but still stands:

NEW: Arsenal have a lot of hard games behind them and Martin Γdegaard back, here's a look at all that, issues of late, some optimism and the need to now go on a big run: p1r.es/4fTs56r
For @arseblog.com
The return of Riccardo Calafiori will be massive for #Arsenal.
He brings personality, aggression and huge technicality to our first phase build up, and moves up with possession.
With Merino and Martinelli coming into form, we can transform our left hand side after the break. #AFC
Martin Γdegaard - Arsenal 2024-2025 Creative Midfield radar and distribution
I am going out on a limb here and making the bold claim he is pretty good at this and Arsenal have missed him in the team.

Martinelli- Merino- Calafiori pod- balance really can be that simple.
Wide outlet is a strong footed overlapper pushing the dangerous SS winger inside whilst the progressive second ball winning CM sits to protect the space.
Weβve been robbed of this.
Declan Rice-Carlos Baleba
The closest approximation to Camavinga on the market.
You donβt have to sacrifice legs in your DLP scouting- having the left footed CM that drops outside the middle third with his vision + ability to receive in the block.

My biggest issue with Elden Ring getting nominated for GOTY is that weβre just coming off a year that had Future Redeemed AND Phantom Liberty
I donβt think any DLC should win but only making that exception NOW after those two got nothing feels like FromSoft bias, whether it actually is or not

18.11.2024 16:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He played there last game with Ode back so donβt think weβll have to worry about that anytime soon but I worry heβll go for Gabi Jesus CF-Havertz RCM if Ode were to go down again somehow

Trossardβs injury might be a blessing in disguise:
LW- Sterling gets more game time off the bench/when Nelli ainβt available
AM- Nwaneri gets more game time when Ode isnβt available
Only downside is that Gabi Jesus is a worse CF than Trossard and now heβs next choice if Kai goes down
Good teams donβt carry average players. Great players look at home in great teams. Bukayo Saka carried #Arsenalβs worst team at 18, and at 23, is the star of our best team in 20 years. Respect is earned with consistency and he has done it for club and country. World class. #AFC
