is jimmy going to be self aware abt the fact that he's abusing her? i tend to characterize him as having a few scattered moments of self-awareness & remorse, but he's usually just weaving more n more elaborate excuses to justify everything (so much so that he deceives himself)

+ abt his own issues for the first time, something to garner sympathy and make the reader realize just how hard it is for anya to leave? but ofc its ur story hehe c:

and like i could be projecting my own experiences onto what youve written, but it reminds me of my first relationship and how i would say yes to anything simply because that was safer than upsetting him by saying no.... hrhgjfjh

the way anya convinces herself that she deserves it, even though to outsiders it's absurd to think that, all because it's easier to blame yourself than to acknowledge there's no deeper meaning behind the abuse

some headcanons:
- he was a streamer and model before joining the Circus (think finnster-style content)
- he has crippling HPD and his profession fed into that, leading to dramatic mood swings any time his viewership dropped
- he got so used to being on camera that he has delusions abt being watched

he'll go thru several more iterations before I'm happy with his design, but here's a quick sketch of #Jax from #TADC (before Caine dropped his ass into a bunny suit)
