What I’d do with the Leafs PP is split them into 2 even units & give them a minute each to create competition and try to spark a few different players.

Each unit gets 1 from each group:

Matthews or Nylander
Tavares or Knies
Rielly or OEL
Domi or Maccelli
Robertson or Cowan

Put Nick Robertson with whoever needs a spark is a sentence I didn't think I'd type this season.

Another night where the Leafs look like the slower, less desperate and second hardest working team on the ice.

After the first month of the season, every team in the East but Boston is over .500 and the Bruins are right at .500. Not sure if that means everyone is decent or it’s just a sea of mediocrity.

As heartbreaking as it is, the 2025 Blue Jays were perhaps the most likeable and exciting team this city has ever produced. Runs like this spawn a generation of fans and it was an unforgettable summer and fall. Grateful for it.

Dan Vladar has only allowed 10 goals in 6 starts this season for a .942 save percentage. Perhaps, against all odds, the Flyers have found themselves a goalie. #LetsGoFlyers

Really have to ask the question again as to why the Leafs claimed Cayden Primeau. His .838 SP and 4.30 GAA are actually somehow better than his numbers were last year. There was no justification for it given who else was available.

Did not think it was possible for Steven Stamkos to have a quieter start this year than last year but here we are.

First 10 games of 2024-25:
- 1 goal, 2 assists, 32 shots on goal

First 11 games of 2025-26:
- 1 goal, 1 assist, 25 shots on goal

Going to be a cool moment for Trey Yesavage to see his name on the Level of Excellence when the Blue Jays return home for Game 6.

Leafs haven't been particularly sharp by any stretch but it's really illuminating how much this team needs quality goaltending on a nightly basis. Primeau ain't it.

If you thought the 4-on-1 the Leafs gave up against New Jersey was bad, can I interest you in a 5-on-1?
