I'm so sick of Presidents acting without congressional approval.

Also, kinda ironic that we are in no way required to pledge allegiance to the flag. We have freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Can't make me say any of that.

Yeah, not according to our Constitution. Just because someone decided to ADD that phrase the pledge of allegiance in 1954 doesn't make it a fact.

These resignations are necessary, but if they had any moral compass, they would've come clean BEFORE the files outed them.

Please talk to an actual Muslim for a better understanding. This is coming from my reading and research. I prefer others do their own in-depth study, which includes actually talking to followers of that belief system.

You are referring to a specific view of Islam that attempts to take over political control and implement Sharia law. That is not the same as Islam as a personal faith.

Please go look up what Christian Nationalism is. It's not the same s Christianity.

A Christian can be a Christian without being a Christian Nationalist.

I am paying very close attention. This is why I am an extremely strong advocate of freedom of religion AND separation of church and state. NO religion should ever govern the United States.

Under an Islamic state, yes. Under Islam, no.

A Christian Nationalist view would also be as oppressive of all other religions.

My current belief system isn't the issue here. The point I'm making is that those behaviors (racism, misogyny, pedophilia, and the attempt to force Christianity on the nation) are evil acts.

What we're seeing in the middle east isn't happening among your average, every day Muslims who live in America. If it were, I'd stand against it just as much as I'm standing against Christian NATIONALISM.

I agree that any form of any religion that forces others to adhere is wrong. 100%. Including any extreme version of Islam or Christianity or anything.

I was a pastor's kid my entire life. My parents were in ministry. I was the lead worship leader in my dad's church. I've read the Bible countless times.

The "evil" I'm talking about is human choices.

You actually don't have to agree with their faith at all. I don't either. But I don't want Christianity or Islam or any faith to be forced on any Americans.

Why does it offend you to see a mosque? It's perfectly legal for them to practice their faith here. We have freedom of religion.
