been a weird year, family health issues at the start (slowly improving!), helped run a con in the middle (very fun!) and almost lost my cat to fip at the end (it’s treatable now!)

Been kinda disappointed with how little I’ve drawn this year but looking back at everything no yeah it makes sense why

Oh awesome!! I was honestly worried they might be unethical to breed but I’m glad I was wrong!
(Not that I’m planning on breeding anything but now I can fully enjoy looking at pictures of them haha)

Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on Lykois? It seems like a really new mutation so I don’t know if it’s officially considered a breed, and I think there was one tumblr post saying they are guaranteed to have horrible skin issues but I’ve never seen other sources confirm or deny that

Is there any link between fur pattern and other traits? My boy looks Siamese, but his mom is a long haired calico and his siblings were all different colors
But he seems to have a lot of Siamese traits like being really vocal, smart, and social which seems like a weird coincidence for a garbage baby

Everything is slightly off n this but I’ve convinced myself I like it

Last year was rough and this year hasn’t started out /great/, but I think having a project to focus on is infinitely better than doomscrolling
