“Legitimate concerns” has become a euphemism for endorsing racism and a cynical attempt by governments to hide from their own responsibility and failure.
It is the slogan of cowards.
The excuse for bigots.
And it blocks our path to an honest national debate on immigration. Shame on all who use it.

Being Reform-lite worked really well this week. When will they realise they are failing on both counts. Losing decent voters to the Greens and compromising their progressive principles to appease the lazy-thinking and plain wrong.

But…but he was going to clear the tariff shelf by giving refunds to ordinary Americans anyway? At least this way, the US corporates suing will be able to reduce their prices and give their staff pay rises if they win? Let’s not be cynical here.
