My mom picked up from god knows where that AI videos were legally required to be labeled as AI, and I would like to find that person and kick their ass.

If you ever see me out and about: I don't travel with a service dog anymore, in large part thanks to Callie.
My psychiatrist tells me this is called "healing."
Callie wearing a plaid red and black hoodie. Standing in snow eith nose up in the air, snow on nose.
Callie staring me down from backseat on a roadtrip in 2024. Head rested on top of driver's seat.
Callie with tongue hanging way out. On leash outside during a walk, standing in the woods.
She is retired, and remains spoiled rotten.

She was flower girl at our wedding. She voted.

She can fly.

Because this sweet girl recently turned 14, and who needs an excuse to share Callie pics?
Callie came into my life in 2016 as a service dog. She helped me get back out into the world despite some bad PTSD and made transitioning to a career as an attorney possible.
That little face!

I have long hair in my pic (maybe even covid-era)?
Your beard is a hot topic.
Attractive nuisance

Congrats to a true mensch, the profession needs more Josh Erlichs. (And Katie Herrmanns, she is also a delight.)

this is like
the thesis statement of our times
Spent part of my afternoon darning and patching a dog bed for our very old, very spoiled labrador.
She had worn holes in it from circling before laying down and kept tripping on them.
Of course, no other bed would do.
My handiwork? Hideous. But she's accepted the bed as mended and I'm thrilled.
I can't hear Markwayne Mullin's name without a very twangy, Coors-Light-Commerical-from-20-years-ago "AND TWINS!" popping into my head.
Markwayne Mullins . . . AND TWINS!
...or "attainable." Dealer's choice.

Sometimes it's the only reason I make a to-do list.
Like, "I got a lot done today, someone should write all this down."
Sprinkle in a few very obtainable goals and you have yourself a recipe for success.
We went on the best walk earlier.

Our lab is on pain killers this evening for her arthritis.
So we keep looking at each other and saying "I'm not high, *you're* high" to one another.
The mams always stay the same lol. Although ideally, the grams do too!

Everything is horrible, so I will share the highlight of my day:
My sister referring to getting a mammogram as getting one's "mams grammed."
Just listened, great interviews!
I'd say I listen to too many law podcasts, but both OA and 5-4 do some great and important work.
That's great to hear! Just recently diagnosed, and working on the meds right now.
So relieved to have a diagnosis and a plan. Really thought I was just super depressed and out of luck.
Had a hell of a time getting diagnosed with Type 2 narcolepsy. Not a lot of folks out there talking about it, so thought I'd share.
I'd been taking meds for depression since I was 19. Diagnosed with narcolepsy at 38.
She calls her naps "sideways time." Heard. I call them "going horizontal."
