These clippings are actually from a plain ol' rose bush, but anything thorny bundled together can be nicknamed "devil's club" here in the deep south. I haven't seen any real devil's club here, but we have plenty of devil's walking stick. Haha.

Thorny clippings from a rose bush are bundled together with twine to resemble a small, dangerous broom. Smaller stems and leaves have been removed. The bundle is being held at its base with caution and displayed in front of a crappy white lace curtain from the thrift store.

Today in crafting for the apocalypse: devil's club! Perfect for shooing away haints, protecting thyself from fascists, and also injuring thyself on accident.
