06.11.2025 13:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am a person recently converting my car to fully electric. I can get a lot from my solar panels for all local travel and esp starting a longer journey. Has anyone been able to say how charging away from home compares to petrol prices? Initial thoughts make me think it may be more expensive. Anyone?

@thetimes.com Why did you fabricate this piece regarding NYC candidate? It has been called out by Bill de Blasio and you deleted the piece. What do you produce that is not fabricated?
29.10.2025 16:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 01.13pm today BBC WATO Promoting the question whether Jess Philips be sacked. Unbelievable that THE person who is working hardest to address issues of safeguarding and dealing with gangs agsinst young girls & women is being hounded. Well who was next after Angela Rayner!
22.10.2025 12:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0is insurance not a viable route? They have to be insured to ensure effectiveness and efficasy of yhe product. if it is proven unsatisfactory for purpose then liability exists, surely?
11.10.2025 14:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0we find the e-contact very efficient. We dont use it for urgent issues, a response in 24 hours very good and often the same day. This cd be to set up an appointment ( again, same day or next day) or to secure a new prescription.
We are in northumberland so tht cd be significant. We are both 65+
Tice rowing back on the substance of this letter on BBCPM y'day! These are real-life impacts for people. They say one thing then buckle under scrutiny
18.07.2025 07:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0so much respect for Jeremy Bowen's report on R4 at 8.40 this morning. So strong a narrative about what is going on in Gaza when we are stopped from looking.
04.07.2025 07:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0at 8.16 on radio 4 Amol stated labour has poor leadership. no question - a statement!
This marks another low in the reporting of the govt by the BBC and a lack of respect for those in difficult roles. Is it a wonder that people like reform prosper when they are not challenged
so, my wordle analysis!
of the 719 tries, I have failed on 6 occasions π
Of the 713 results I have averaged 4.056 and my success rate is 99%. my current streak is 11. (A visiting grand-dtr can disrupt the routine, happily). Onwards
leaving aside all the various groups that benefit from having such a strong organisation in place, why do parties in the UK want to take away MY rights or your rights? They can cloak things regarding those 'less deserving' but these are everyone's rights.
17.06.2025 10:15 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0been looking at some stats and we have generated 23MW of electricity since March 22. This is the benefit to me and the grid. It is an ongoing benefit and a great argument for fitting SP to every new build

Deserves a much wider audience.
I have said for some time that this is simply littering and should be subject to fines. When I worked in Newcastle students would drop loads off by their flats from the afternoon onwards making some streets difficult to pass

well god forbid that anyone who has paid into the system should benefit from it in the long term, which for many would be decades later. How does that differ from indigenous people? Are they expected to pay in to the system then just leave?
13.05.2025 07:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Such a good result by SAFC on Friday. I have not been most impressed by RΓ©gis le Bris this year as he is too down beat for me but the result was a great step forward

Ours is SW orientation but have benefitted so much from SPanels.
Why have they not been required as part of building code??
whilst agreeing a move to PR is preferable, not sure how this changes the point about low turnout. some elections do not/have not/ may never generate high turnouts

29.03.2025 07:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Brexit was pushed through by lies. The Sun lied about benefits tourism. Later, it printed this pathetically small apology.
The government should force all news media to print apologies for falsehoods in a form that makes them very visible to the public.

09.03.2025 09:06 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why do we now continue to think US are best placed to negotiate things? He has deliberately dispariged the president of a sovereign country, stopped intelligence and likely to send previously welcomed war-displaced people home. This is not work of a mediator
