A cherry wood table with a multicolored hand woven runner has decorative items such as books leaning against a cherry wood record player and a deep maroon ceramic planter which houses a trailing philodendron. On top of the record player a green ceramic decorative pitcher has some dried purple, pink and white sea lavender inside, a handmade birthday card resting against it, and a tall green glass vase with a gold rim has an arrangement of fresh white lilies waiting to bloom.

A view of just the handmade card which is oriented horizontally and features a blue butterfly in the upper left, a variety of pressed flowers along the bottom of a flower printed piece of cardstock, a bird resting on a branch in the lower right, a green butterfly in the middle, and wispy greenery in the top right with a round gold and brown “J” sticker and a pink polka dot line going partially across the top of the card. The card has a very strong vintage floral theme, and there are small features that represent my mother throughout.

Today’s my late mother’s 55th birthday. I got her some of her fav flowers, finished making her card last night, & got a pack of Andes mint chocolates (her fav) that I’ve been aggressively working my way thru since last night. Hope y’all have been having a beautiful weekend 💚
