Bruce Campbell has announced that he has cancer, and I'm not okay.

I spent more on food than I earned from comms in the last two months. This is after cutting my food budget back in December. So I set myself a goal called "Food Money" this month (though I'm not sure how that'll make any difference). I'll keep public track of it.

I'm no writer or comic artist, but this is how I would've handled it. I think part of the problem in the original is the pacing through the panels. There isn't much space. I took some liberties to change the dialogue to what I think it could work.

Mad Mew Mew's Mad Cafe (2023)

Vance, a human who looks like if Butch Hartman designed a parody of Link from The Legend of Zelda, and Victor, what I can describe only as a mettaton and falco love-child, walk onto the streets of, presumably, Boston. As they speak, Vance looks over his shoulder at Victor, while Victor looks over his own back at Vance, both some distance apart. Vance asks, "Your ass is from Massachusetts but you say shit like 'luv' a lot. sup with that" Victor replies, "I came to life in boston and then I just kept doin different accents of rockstars I liked for fun and it stuck" Vance concludes, "So. You're an abomination" Victor stares up at nothing, handsomely drawn, face neutral. His beak seems to be frowning slightly, but it's hard to tell if he's actually upset or just in thought. He's wearing earrings (attached to the sides of his head, somehow), an open jacket, and a top with cleavage that shows off his chest. Victor is a robot-toy-bird thing, so his chest has holes for his speaker. He also has cool black hair-- though this is a doodle comic, so his hair isn't really colored black. Just his mascara. "I'm an abomination." Victor agrees, face downcast. "I love you" Vance says offscreen. Victor repeats, in a heavier accent, "Oh'm an abominaytion luv" the previous panel was edited so that he's holding a teacup, while wearing a monocle, a New England Patriots hat, a tiny top-hat, and a shirt that says "WICKED BOLLOCKS" In the next panel, the boys walk through an alleyway. "oh 'new england' i get it now" Vance muses, adding, "So this is it, huh?" "This is the alleyway I came to life in." Victor explains, "It's--" "You came to life, bro?" Vance interjects, emphasis on the word "came". He's doing the cheeky face cdi-link makes after asking for a kiss. Victor stares at nothing, crudely drawn. He looks at Vance, who is looking back. Victor looks up and affirms, "This is the alleyway I ejaculated into being in" "This is where you came to" "I came screaming and crying"
