Anytime I see cons that denied IR/MC authors, I roll my eyes and remember my mom saying I’m not for anyone who’s not for me. IR/MC romance authors get excluded all the time from supposedly diverse events bc we write Black women being loved by everyone.

They way they do their own people… no one else has a chance. Some of the stories being shared are heart breaking.
