What happened:
• UK was pushing Apple to backdoor their ADP encryption
• Apple refused to compromise security for all users
• UK regulators have now stepped back from these demands

International pressure worked! Apple isn't perfect, but they + US fought this well.

🎉 MAJOR WIN: The UK is backing down on forcing Apple to create encryption backdoors after pressure from the US!

This is a huge victory for digital privacy and security worldwide.

Strong encryption remains unbroken... for now.
