If you’re protesting in Santa Rosa CA tomorrow, there’s a craft market happening in The Square alongside the protest (been planned for months) - so PLEASE be respectful of the small businesses and show them love. Many are having a helluva time, esp w the tariffs, and could use the extra support

I just checked and they’re back on threads. The ones I typed last night look normal today. I’m glad I screen recorded them changing because it feels like they’re going gaslight us that it never happened.

Folks loved seeing Tembo in his stroller. I got stopped a lot and explained he couldn’t walk b/c his leg cancer.

With Porter folks seem much more judgy. Is it cuz he’s smaller? I want to put a sign on him “I’m 17.5 and slow as sh*t”

When your order from a small biz is delayed (shipping & delivery), don’t write a bad review of the business. Instead write to the Postmaster.

Once we drop off packages it’s completely out of our hands, we see the exact same tracking info as you, & the Postal Workers don’t give us special updates.

One of the big Bay Area craft/artisan markets is finally cracking down on AI art and Temu/Shein crap and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I hope more markets follow suit.

Not my cat, it lives in my apartment complex. I named it Chilaquiles. It was a whole vibe today.

I’ve now decided to tune out from just about everything today because my body broke out in hives from stress yesterday

No surprise this was a best seller at my event this past weekend. I feel ya, folks.

No, but it may be hard for small US coffee roasters & shops to switch suppliers or change amounts they order from other places that quickly. My local roaster builds great relationships w her suppliers and does lots of research. Makes it tougher in an already tough year.

Folks boycotting Target and the like and you wanna shop small:
1. Create a bookmark folder in your browser w subfolders for different categories (ex. Stationery & Office Supplies, Adult Clothing, Kids , Pets, Decor, Gift, etc) and bookmark as you find them. Even local shops!

When you need a BDay card in the July will you shop online & pay shipping for a card or visit a local stationery shop, or will you just grab one at another place that’s convenient for you where you’re already doing your shopping?

So you wanna boycott Target and shop small brands directly.

Will you really tho? Some will. Some will *right now* while it’s top of mind.

But will you in 6 months? Will you gladly pay shipping?
