If you're in your 30's and 40's fangirling over a Taylor Swift album you should have a propeller hat glued to your head.

Lost Odyssey has some ... voice acting issues, but there are some pretty neat aspects of it, one of which I felt influenced Nier a few years later.

Eternal Sonata was cute but I never got the urge to revisit it.

I grew up in Illinois and I agree medical weed was not the same as weed being legal. I had far more freedom (and volume lol) as an illegal smoker than someone with the card.

A post on the Disco Elysium subreddit. Thread title is "Understanding this game better as a non-political person?"

The post reads, "Just finished my first play through and I'm floored. What a masterpiece of narrative, character writing, and world building. I'm still mourning the end of my blind first experience with this game. I want to go back and do a second playthrough, however - I do not understand a lot of the political fundamentals. At the end of my first play through, Kim said I was a fascist, but I always just picked the answers that felt right to me without any particular political view in mind. I'm wondering how I can better grasp these themes so I can understand the game at its core? I truly appreciate the artistry of the writing and themes and would just like to deep dive so I can cover more on my second play through. Also Kim is the best."

You only hear this from Americans because we have a duopoly that crushes any other choice by virtue of having billions of dollars backing it. Voting for someone doesn't influence them to be anything other than what they already were, and our collective voice never outweighs millionaire donors.

Could you explain what holding politicians to account means? Our only recourse as private citizens not worth millions/billions of dollars is to choose to not vote for them, and we've seen time and time again that once they are in office there is nothing obligating them to listen to citizens.

If you want to defeat the corporations, all you need is a buddy and a couple 50,000 lbs ACs.

Crazy how people who seem to think I’m being very unfair in these remarks also seem to recognize without prompting who I am talking about

I'm sure if we examined every comedian's life we could find reasons that would make sense for them to turn it down, so if they didn't ... I guess it was just the money. lol

The most shocking to me is Bill Burr, after all that effort he's made to be "politically sane" recently, this seems random.

Attell is a New York Jew. He turned it down and I'm sure there are many reasons he could have for doing so.

He's already hanging out with the likes of Refn, del Toro, etc. who have shown they won't shy away from films that come off as weird to the general public. Don't think his ego would take too big of a hit if critics didn't like his film.

Have you played the other Silent Hill games? Curious how you think it stacks up to something like Homecoming, which was ... unpleasant, to put it lightly.

I found him to be quite mentally and emotionally healthy in 28 Years Later, despite looking like he was just birthed by a squash.

I wouldn't trust the average American voter to put a frozen pizza in the oven right side up. I don't know how this is a defense of politicians being useless.
