If I remember correctly the author of the manga was a college professor so it was probably based of their own time as a grad student.

I get ya. It didn't bother me either. Most people wanted like a digital art book/ concept art included. Plus Galaxy 2 was left out which made people upset.

That's probably part of the reason why. It was a limited release game with not a lot of extras in the compilation.
Nintendo also did it with a version of Fire Emblem 1 for the Switch that was a download code in a big box of stuff and it's super rare now.
