One of my favourites was a cop getting gassed after chasing a guy for about 20 yards, meanwhile another officer who wasn't even in the shot sprints past him from off camera and catches the suspect. If I was officer slowpoke I'd be too embarrassed to show up for work ever again.

This game was so much better than I thought it would be given its reception - it wasn't perfect by any means but I really respected what they tried to do with the project.

How did we get here - gambling real money on famine? I know awful things have always happened & evil people have existed since humans first walked the earth but THIS? It's like every day humanity sinks to a new low. All the wrong people are in power the world over. There's no coming back from this.

This is a quote from the article summing up both studies in Technology Review: "A multi-university team of researchers has found that chatting with a politically biased AI model was more effective than political advertisements at nudging both Democrats and Republicans to support presidential candidates of the opposing party. The chatbots swayed opinions by citing facts and evidence, but they were not always accurate—in fact, the researchers found, the most persuasive models said the most untrue things."
