Orange, burnt umber, and black contrasts a sunset scene. A panel was cut into 16 pieces and sashes and mitered corners in each pane provides the illusion of looking through a window.

Working in my home pottery studio to try to develop a -new to me -form of art. Art is the only thing keeping me somewhat sane lately lol. I also finished this quilt top that I’ve loaded onto my longarm frame today.

I’m glad you like it now though. What pattern are you making? I will avoid ripping seams out if I possibly can but an error will drive me nuts forever so I usually cave and fix it lol.

This serene window quilt top is on my design wall tonight. I cut a panel into 16 pieces to create the gazing through a window effect, I used a gray fabric for the bottom of each pane to give the effect of evening. I needed something soothing to focus on. #quiltsky, #quilting, #quilts, #sewing.

Finished my wall hanging quilt titled The Visitor . Quilting is free motion stippling. Earth is depicted in top right corner. Appliqué quilt . Six fabric choices used. Visitor is stylized combination of Oumuamua and 3I/ATLAS . #quiltsky, #astronomyquilt , #sewing , #quilting .

Nebula background fabric with stylized planets and space objects fused to it. Oumuamua is created from gray fabric with permanent marker ink added to make it look like a rougher surface. I added a comet tail to represent the newly discovered visitor 3I/Atlas comet. Earth is depicted in top right corner along with our moon.

Quilted hearts with intricate quilting stitches and peace signs, Mickey Mouse, music notes, butterflies, and even non binary flag colors for marginalized people.

Quilted hearts with the word peace stitched in by my sewing machine. Also has other positive symbols like a USA flag, peace signs, butterflies, and cute little whimsical metal charms.

No!! Bernie and AOC are the only ones really fighting and inspiring voters. Warren tries and a couple others do some town halls but otherwise I’m wholly disappointed In the lack of backbone being demonstrated overall.
