There's one thing that I love more than anything and that's a game studio botching a game release, but doing everything in their power to make sure the game gets patched up and works. Two notable examples from the last 5 years are Cyberpunk 2077 and Cities Skylines 2.

I learned that someone at my work is reporting that I'm doing nothing to my manager and higher-ups. I'm the hardest working person at my work. I push carts all day, and do all the cleaning and other dirty work around my store. Even my co-workers are saying wtf.

So, I saw pics of the plans for the Epstien Ballroom, and it's styling looked oddly familiar. Then, it hit me like a bag of rocks. It's in the same architectural style of Mar-a-lago. Trump's building Mar-a-lago on top of the whitehouse!

I love reading about history and what common folks did during times when they weren't really recorded or acknowledged because it shows something we often forget;

Ancient humans were really fucking smart.

The reason we think they were dumb is because they didn't have access to the tools we have now

This nearly 100 year old lobby from the East Wing of the White House is being torn down for a tacky, gold lined ballroom.

The East Wing used to be the only part of the White House you could tour as a US citizen. That's all gone now. The people's house is gone.

The last time a modern society starved, the French Revolution happened. Maybe it's not a good idea to build a $230 million ballroom while your citizens starve to death?

How long do we have till this bug crash? I don't know. Nobody does. But, we can make guesses based on how tech companies behave, and all signs point to some time in the next 1-3 years.

The government pouring money into A.I isn't helping either. The tech itself isn't improving at all and this only makes the bubble bigger. The bigger the bubble, the bigger the pop. All these tech bros are riding on a tsunami that'll kill not them, but those working under them.

The A.I bubble is so massive that almost all of the US's GDP was made from A.I infrastructure like data centers. The current government doesn't want the bubble to pop because if it does, the economy crashes, and it crashes HARD.

Any time a new technology is introduced, there's a lot of stupid money thrown at it, even if the tech isn't useful for anyone. These tech bubbles usually pop after a few years and only affect the tech industries. This time, it's different.

I find it funny that we as a country are spending literally billions to make A.I data centers when A.I isn't profitable in any way whatsoever. Why are we doing this? It's simple. The A.I bubble is the only thing keeping our economy from a recession. Let me explain;

The first thing the new president after Trump should do is immediately tear down the ball room and restore the East Wing. That section of the Whitehouse has a lot of history and I'd hate to see it torn down for a tacky gold party room.

I'm going to No Kings Denver, and there are already a lot of protesters on the train. We aren't even close to the city yet. I'm excited!

I didn't even know this was a feature, let alone that they removed it at some point, and now it's back. This is going to kill people. Teslas weigh more than a car of the same size because of the lithium batteries. You know what happens when teslas get into bad crashes? Lithium fires.
