She was elected to Congress two weeks ago, officially making her the final vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.

She has still not been sworn in because Mike Johnson refuses to do so.

So the people causing the shutdown are getting paid. The people keeping the country running don’t.

And Speaker Mike Johnson won’t let the House come back to work. So basically they’re on a paid vacation while Americans miss paychecks.

Did I get that right?

Why is Mike Johnson so afraid to swear in Representative-elect Grijalva?

Just thinking. When the DEMs get back in power in 28 with the Executive and both houses, we MUST have a kick-ass Attorney General and President in Office who use the constitution and law to run like hell over the GOP law breakers. Full speed ahead, no compassion. I am tired of turning a check.

Tomorrow, I, along with Senator Kaine will be forcing a vote to block President Trump’s use of our Armed Forces to conduct strikes against vessels in the Caribbean Sea.

Congress has not authorized these strikes. They are illegal and risk dragging America into another war.

I wouldn’t advise anyone in Portland to walk your dog near this building.

Trump’s openly talking about invoking the Insurrection Act with zero insurrection in sight. He’s inventing chaos in Portland and Chicago, and even saying he’d use it if courts or local officials are ‘holding us up’.

So the American taxpayer eats it twice, once on tariffs and again on a second farm bailout. I’m glad farmers are getting help, no one should lose their farm, but it’s remarkable how fast “socialism” stops being a dirty word when the checks clear in red counties.

It's increasingly clear that the president lives in a constructed bubble of unreality designed by aides who are manipulating him in order to take control of US policy. Seems like an important story - wish media would cover it.

How can 78% of Americans want the ACA tax credits extended, but only 27% approve of Dems handling of the shutdown? Could it be the way pollsters ask questions? Is it propaganda? A corporate media issue? A messaging problem?
