A female blackbird gently pecking away under a seed feeder while Boss pigeon was otherwise engaged.

Bit grey in DD6 land , missing yesterday’s sunshine already .

Current book:
The Pathfinders by Will Iredale.

Very good, mostly.
Spoilt by some unnecessary adjectives.
It is taken as read that they were working in a dangerous environment.

Broccoli soup, made with broccoli, leeks, spinach (that gives it the green colour), Stilton cheese and soft cream cheese, a crushed clove of garlic and black pepper. The soup is in a large IKEA bowl with a spoon resting in it. The bowl is on a folded piece of kitchen towel, to stop it sliding in the microwave.
