With bitcoin getting so expensive, that sub unit is now much more commonly used. There’s actually a huge discussion on whether to get rid of that altogether because it can be so confusing. Tough habit to change.

Thing is that this still makes you think about the balance. When you see a nice landscape instead, it feels more private and relaxing.

It was a pleasure presenting the Open Design Guide (opendesign.guide) last week at FOSS Backstage with @erioldoesdesign.bsky.social. It's an effort to provide a smoother path into open-source for designers. Interestingly, there were 3 other talks at the conference that brought up the same problem.
