i get the impression that nintendo views amiibo the same way they view those like overly detailed and expensive anime figurines and that's why they cost so much now.

and it's like, no. these were made to be skylanders wannabes. you can put detail in them but don't overprice the shit out of them.

i may only consider buying a few v-bucks if there's ever an outfit i want from the item shop. that's it.

Another double feature of Showa Godzilla films! I enjoyed Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster quite a lot for its slapstick-y monster fights, but Invasion of Astro-Monster was just okay, it didn't have as many good monster moments. Both films have pretty decent human characters though.
