"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults—Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe—living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons.

Oh yes. Definitely.

Brideshead suffers from the terrible disease of religious earnestness (other opinions are, as always, available). I love it, but suspect that’s because of indoctrination (A-level set text, coupled with the BBC adaptation). I think I prefer acerbic, witty Waugh.

Marvellous. I think there’s recent research showing more females sing than previously thought, especially in the tropics. In any case, it’s very funny.

Open call to the female wrens of south London: there’s a male in our garden who would very much like the pleasure of your company. Quite urgently, by the sound of it.
