Captured by satellite: Great Salt Lake's dust threatens air quality in Utah cities A weather satellite captured a large plume of dust blowing off the shrinking Great Salt Lake and into nearby communities.

Feeling pretty excited about new projects in pinyon-juniper woodlands w/ a great combo of collaborators. It was a difficult but magical semester bringing my natural resource students and mentored research students to help collect data in some of the most beautiful places in the world.
