Both are extremely close. I will say that Revolver starts with a George Harrison song, which automatically gives it additional points for me. He was the most underrated Beatle and had the best solo material IMO

To be honest, I think Revolver is their best album and my personal favorite. It’s a perfect blend of their earlier sound with some psychedelic elements throughout imo

It’s still one of my favorite albums and would love to know: problematic in what way? Overproduction? We can thank the Beach Boys for that one (although Pet Sounds is a masterpiece)

I do really like the storytelling of Sgt. Pepper’s though and “A Day in the Life” is a perfect song
