Sometime in the past a storm blew this tree over, it lays into the water from the shoreline. A great blue heron is making it's way over it looking for dinner presumably. Green grasses punctuate the space. Great blue herons have blue-gray backs, white breasts with black streaks, and white heads. They also have a black stripe on each side of their body that runs from their eyes to black plumes at the back of their heads. Their neck feathers are often cinnamon-colored, and their legs are black.
