20.08.2025 21:22 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0From Private Eye Magazine No.1656 on newsstands now... HISTORIC PEACE DEAL Chamberlain rates Hitler meeting "Ten out of ten' by Our Munich Staff Piers Inourtime The Prime Minister of the United States of Kingdom, Mr Neville Chamberlain, hailed his summit with dictator Adolf Hitler as a triumph. "We got along great," said the self-styled "Greatest PM Ever- Fact!" Critics questioned whether the Munich agreement had actually delivered peace in Europe, and worried that Mr Chamberlain might have been played like a ukulele in the hands of Mr George Formby. "That's fake Pathe News" responded Donald Chamberlain. "I know Adolf likes me bigly. He told me that I'm a much better PM than Sleepy Stanley Baldwin, and that I've turned Great Britain into an economy that's as hot as a Gatling Gun!" Mr Chamberlain was particularly pleased with a letter from Mrs Melania Chamberlain, which he had hand-delivered to the Fรผhrer, in which she expressed concerns about the future of children in Nazi Germany. "Mr Hitler, you can single-handedly restore their melodic laughter," she wrote - or at least AI and Google Translate jointly did. The Fรผhrer had to wipe away a tear - of laughter. Mr Chamberlain was adamant that the Nazi leader should be trusted, because he was wearing a smart military jacket and tie, with a very respectful armband. Mr Chamberlain concluded, "Czechoslovakia can end the war tomorrow. It's up to them, not Mr Hitler, who simply wants peace. And Poland. And France. And possibly Britain!"

Poilievre secured a seat, but first needs CSIS security clearance before handling sensitive intelโor even briefings on foreign interference.
CBC spells out the absurdity: weโre meant to trust national security from someone who refuses the most basic vetting.

Ukrainians didn't surrender in 2014, when the world refused even to recognize russian aggression.
Ukrainians didn't surrender in 2022, when the world expected us to fall in 72h.
Ukrainians won't surrender in 2025, either.
For us, freedom and sovereignty are not empty words.
A stable, democratic America was the lynchpin of the Western alliance and the international order Europe relies upon. The US isnโt that anymore, and itโs getting worse. The implications are massive, and still under-recognized, perhaps in part because theyโre so big and unsettling.
I second this:

Hey fellow Canadians, you know that $20 billion in travel and tourism that we used to plow into the US economy every *year* by visiting America?
