Looks like Mr. Blobby's child

Photo of three wall shelves (two shorter shelves above, one longer and wider one at the bottom). On the top shelf are two framed art prints showing Yorkshire landscapes. A dark green and red paper chain hangs from this shelf in a nice, even bow. On the middle shelf there are some books and knick-knacks. The bottom shelf also features all kinds of trinkets, along with various theatre programs (Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night's Dream, etc.), a knitted bunny dressed up as Malvolio, and two mice with Christmas outfits on, dressed in green and red respectively, sitting at the edge of the shelf with their legs dangling in the air.

Decided to do some last minute decorating yesterday. Made my first ever paper chain, I think it turned out quite well. And the Christmas mice I bought of course had to go on my wall shelf (they're husbands).

I won't have to work the 24th and the 31st 🙌

First day back at work after the holibobs. Hope no one will expect too much of me, I'm still a bit tired from the travel. Fingers crossed I won't have to work on the 24th. 🤞

Started working on this crow painting back in 2021 (left). Today I sat down and finally put my acrylics and paintbrushes to use again (right).
It's looking a little messy, but I feel like I made good progress and have an idea how I want this painting to look in the end.

The book "Cobweb" by Michael Morpurgo. The book is closed and its cover depicts the protagonist, a Pembrokeshire corgi named Cobweb, front and center in the countryside of Wales. Behind him stands an army drummer, and birds are soaring through the golden sky.

The book is opened to a page roughly im the middle of the book, which features an illustration of a man and dog riding on the back of a horse.

Michael Morpurgo's "Cobweb" was such a lovely, quick read.
I'm normally not really a fan of a first person point of view, but for this sweet story, it was the perfect choice. And the illustrations by Michael Foreman are lovely.

Best cast. Best people.

Now I really need to get the sequels because I need to know how things will turn out. And see the film. I fell in love with this story

I am holding the book "The Wild Robot" by Peter Brown in front of a white background. Today I read "The Wild Robot" by Peter Brown. I had to put the book down so many times to wipe my eyes 😭!
It was so good and beautiful and heart-wrenching! I think especially because I love nature and found family it ticked all the right boxes for me.
And the illustrations – so adorable!
