More impressive as a technical achievement than a horror movie but worth a watch nonetheless.

Is it "more Hades?" sure, but it is *so much more* Hades. The gameplay loop has lost none of its addictive qualities and some post-launch support has shored up my biggest issues with the writing. That said, the grind seems a bit excessive for the relationships and side stories

am I a horrible sucker for "compassion is the mark of true strength?" undoubtedly. even beyond my bias, though, it's a rollicking good time with one of the most intensely lovable versions of Diana I can recall.

a comic entirely unashamed of being designed to make you go "hell yeah" every five or so pages. the sheer earnestness turns what could have been an all-star batman redux into a visceral delight

takes everything that ruled about Hollow Knight, amplifies it, and broadens the movement and combat to an extraordinary level of depth. a masterpiece for those willing to tolerate a bit of cruelty in their game design

unexceptional in most areas, but absolutely rock-solid throughout. Though it's behind Superman and Thunderbolts for me due to lack of ambition, I can understand hitting for contact with this franchise.

anyway The Studio is great. A difficult watch at times with the cringe comedy but it's yet more proof that Seth Rogen going up to his infinite friends in showbiz and going "hey wanna be part of this" is a winning formula
