The problem is only a problem for Democrats who still want to prop up ICE; which is why it’s precisely the correct demand.

The problem with asking Democrats to abolish ICE is not that they can’t so it’s pointless; it’s that they don’t want to and there are plenty of people who would rather not expose that.

This is also why authoritarians in both parties are so intent on censoring social media.

For decades cops murdered with impunity and the press repeated their lies as fact.

Now everyone can document abuse and instantly share it with millions of people.

That makes those in power scared.

Pro tip: if your Mayor or your City Council are talking tough about ICE, demand that they take steps to limit local cops from sharing surveillance data with ICE.
