What a badass.

Patterson was trying to use lead to determine when the earth was formed. But there was SO MUCH LEAD in the environment that he couldn’t get his lab clean enough to prevent contamination. Anyway, that’s the domino that got the lead out of your gas and lightbulbs and paint and household metals.
