There are grunts which are normal and there is grunting like sex. You will know the difference when you hear it and it's hard to concentrate on your own workout when someone is very loudly and repeatedly grunting like that

Just pre-ordered @barbarabyar.bsky.social’s debut novel, IN THE DESERT (from @cowboyjamboree.bsky.social). Read an ARC version and, seriously, I’m still thinking about it. It’s basically David Lynch meets Wim Wenders meets Emily St. John Mandel. One of my favorite novels of recent.
