Actually I don’t look that much of a mess - just tired
And clarifying the carrier bags, I meant they were mismatched plastic bags and nothing fancy, cuz, y’know, I’d been pet food shopping

If I never go back, does it ‘prove’ her right? Should I have said something? (I did sort of mutter as I trudged out with my cans of dog food 😂)
I admit I looked a mess, I’m recovering from flu here, but do I need to wear a ball gown from now on to buy soap from BS?

I’m also pretty sure from the way she curtly said ‘thank you’ after I’d showed her my bags, that she thought I’d either stashed a fucking bar of soap somewhere else or she’d got to me before I could get away with the crime.
Anyway went to Holland and Barrett and their soaps were half the price! 🎉

Now have a dilemma

Whilst I somewhat understand why she asked me
(As bloke said, ‘sign of the times, lots of petty theft etc etc) I’m also now pissed off.
Shall I boycott?

BUT … it’s the only place that makes the shampoo that stops my scalp from itching.

Ok, so I somewhat understand why.
- I seem to have a suspicious air and am often followed in shops by security ppl
- I didn’t look smart (I’m also short and was wearing my usual tee and jeans)
- I was carrying two carrier bags
- my handbag was open
- the soaps looked flipped through

Just went into my local B0dy Shop to look for soap and face sunscreen.
Decided the soaps were pricey so I’d check elsewhere, then saw a different stand, reached into my bag for my glasses, saw they were same price and decided no.
Then got asked by salesperson to check my bag …

A very interesting but also challenging part of the Aran and Tao graphic novel is that it’s not a classic love story.

So even though it’s about them getting together it’s not a will they won’t they story

Was supposed to go and see a show tonight (Constellations) but I’ve been really unwell the past few days. Was still deciding. Got ready, walked downstairs and then had hideous stomach pain (unrelated as think it’s indigestion) so took that as a sign to stay home.
