This is quite dismissive of very real accomplishments by the Biden Administration.
Under him, we passed the largest ever investment in fighting climate change, the largest investment in decades to fix our infrastructure, and the first GVP bill in over 30 years. People are alive because of those.

Watching our young men win gold for the first time since the 1980 game was joyful and electric. It felt like those walls between us were down and we were all united. The video of the locker room was heartbreaking because it stole the unity and joy and connection that had just been given to us.

Daniel Suitor remarks "This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it." The post he refers to is from Fox 9's Paul Blume, and reads "SHOCKING FEDERAL COURT MOMENT: DOJ attorney Julie Le, "the system sucks, this job sucks" to Judge Jerry Blackwell who pressed her on why so many court orders are being ignored by ICE/Trump administration. She asked to be held in contempt just so she could get 24 hours of sleep. @FOX9
The DOJ attorneys are not okay.
I repeat, their attorneys are not okay.
In this moment, when powerful people are pushing us to believe that the world is “us” versus “them,” we need to remember that all humans are connected by a common thread -- that the best of us awakens when we are in community with strangers -- that separation is an illusion that keeps us from joy.

There is no point in arguing about this but no. The BBB passed on continuing resolution. No way for us to stop it. The shut down was about Obamacare subsidies. The BBB funds ice until 2029. There is literally nothing Dems can do (unless we give them the house) to stop it.

Know this: the pain you are feeling because of the pain of people you do not even know —an ICU nurse, a 5 year old, a mom — that pain comes from the best thing about you. Don’t lose it. Don’t ignore it. Feel glad that you can feel it. Because if you couldn’t, you would be pitiable and dangerous.
