...This is definitely a baby march. 'Twas quite the surprise opening up Bluesky to a giant baby on my screen. Seriously, this is actually really good though.

I finally fixed my YouTube channel and added my Bluesky link, amongst other things...

You know, Bluesky really is the linux of social media. It's free, open source, and if more people used/supported it it would be vastly superior to the rubbish corpo alternatives (who's worse, Elon or Microsoft).

Thank you, Vocaloid community, for making me feel like I can try. For making the wall to maybe finding my true identity a bit lower. You've all done me a great service in that, and I greatly appreciate it. You all are the best. Truly.

I'm scared to do this. I've been sitting here for half an hour drafting this post. But I think I want to. If nothing else, I can always revert back to they/them. If I like it enough here, I may pursue it IRL as well. This seems like a nice safe place to experiment.

I remember reading the side effects of HRT and getting incredibly excited. I remember holding someone's purse, and feeling something I haven't in a while. Like what I was wearing was me. But to be honest, it's still terrifying. I don't want people to hate me.

I think I'll try out going by she/her pronouns for a bit. I've been thinking about my gender identity, and I don't think where I am is right for me. As such, I'd like to try something new. I have been mulling this change over for a wee while, and it excites me.

I'm really excited about Vocapride! If I can just finish writing the damn thing... Who knew writing rap would be so hard. I complain about songwriting, but if I didn't set stupid goals like "write a song where every line contains another Vocaloid song title", maybe I wouldn't suffer as much.

I made significant progress on a project today! I'm hoping to release it in a couple weeks (although I just realized I have another release scheduled for then...). Anyhow, X doesn't know about this, I just enlightened them on Kiwi chocolate. Mwahahaha!

Someone advertised their work in my X comments section. I don't know how to feel about this. What's worse is they had some AI art in their MVs (I think it was an accident but still). I don't know how to feel. Like, I want to be nice to people, but I also despise AI and am unsure about self-adverts.

I went on a constant companions walk. I... have so many good things to say, I could write an essay. I'll spare you all, but let me just say that Constant Companions makes the world feel extra bright. 10/10 album, if you haven't heard it you should.

Just ignore them. I guarantee you, just as many if not more of us are on team "creative expression for all". They are a vocal minority.

Welcome! This seems to happen once every few weeks, people have a whinge for a few days and forget for next time. It's exhausting, really. It happens because the core vocaloid audience is used to small producers, and thus do not like "commercial" songs. Thus, when a big song comes along, pitchforks.

Fun fact: In New Zealand, we make rice krispie treats with honey. We call them rice bubble cake. It's yum, but I must admit I have never had a rice krispie treat to compare.
